Aubrey de Vere was the illegitimate son of Aubrey Vere. He was born 17 April 1664 and baptised on 15 May at St Paul's Convent Garden, acknowledged by his father, and given his name. [1][2][3] His mother was Hester or Elizabeth Davenport
He was buried on 4 June 1708, as "Aubery de Vere - Earl of Oxford was buried from Grey's Inn June the 4th 1708." [4]
